Help! I have lost my voice and I have a horrible cough that hurts. My throat isn't terribly sore but my chest is. I would like some kind of lozenge to help my voice and possibly stop me from coughing. I don't react well to most over the counter medicines and cough syrup...they usually either put me to sleep (even the non drowsy kind) or they just don't work. I would really like some suggestions on home cough remedies and lozenges to help me feel better.


I hate being sick!!!!! I just don't have time for it!

I know everything u consume whether it be drugs, food, even breath goes thru ur liver. My friend and i have been arguing on the effects of Cocain on the liver. He is certain that Cocain does not have a negative effect on the liver and if it does its minor. Me on the other hand believe it does harm the liver for logical reasons. Is there anyone that has facts and a explaination on why and how it harms the liver. And if i am wrong can someone also explain why it doesnt effect the liver.

This is a seriously question. I take a shower every day but sometimes every other day but I'm always gettin' pimples on my butt, generally within 3-4 inches of my butthole. I don't know what to do about it. Any ideas? and does anyone else have this problem?

Why r my fieces BLACK! I have stopped smoking for three days, and gone from 3-4 coffees a day to 1. Im drinking lots of water and eating fresh foods. Also i am taking elevit a multi vitamin for pregnancy as we are planning to concieve soon! Im a bit concerned

When you take a close look, everything that grows naturally like fruit and vegetables costs a hell of a lot more than packaged, bagged, canned and bottled food. Why is that? You would think that all the steps and chemicals used in processed foods would cause them to be more expensive than readily available natural foods. This really pisses me off.. How do you feel about it?

Are any of you on any of these? I am on Didability and they are deciding to charge me now for Medical...should I keep it or go back to my husbands Insurance? I hate the whole run around of being on State Disability...but it helps my husband with the finances. i got those stiches that self disolve i just wanted to know how long would that take (the stiches are in my mouth) (yes it is anoying and a bother) (and that was from a cyst i had to take out) but any ways how long would it take for the stiches to disolve? THANKS!

i seem to be a person who has a alot of acidity in my stomach- for one, i dont burp, and when i do, its very acidic. i've found that i've had bad hangover almost every time, despite how much, how littlei drink, and whether i eat before or after i drink. and when i am hungover, i feel extremley naseated, always. i think this has something to do with the high acid concentration in my stomach, which alchohol being acidic i assume it only makes it worse?
does it sound like i have a stomach conditon, an ulser perhaps? if its something i could treat, because ive suspected i've had a stomach problem for a while.
