Valium, Halcion, ambien...I have tried them all for sleep and none seem to have any effect at all on me. I could understand if i had a tolerance but have only tried these individualy on a very limited basis. Is there any explanation for this. I mean come on 15 mg of valium does nothing?????

try taking them w/ melatonin 2mg. this & ambien 10mg works. if not take a 2mg xanax too. but try 1st above then, try xanax & melatonin. then all 3, due to ur tolerance. don't drink or take anything w/ stimulants or eat foods w/ tryphantan, like eating turkey, warm milk, sleepytime tea. u get real tired 1hr b4 bed, relax, lights off.

This is a genetic condition. It runs in families. Your body chemistry process the chemical differently.

Honestly you have to allow them to work. Serious no joke. I had the same problem with Vicodin, Darvocet and Codine. It sounds really stupid but that was it for me. I would take them and continue my norm. They wouldn't work. My Dr explained, take them and then relax, sit still and LET them do their job. Don't fight it, unconsciously even. Hope this helps....

Good luck!
