My sister is two years old, she'll be three in December and she doenst really talk. She says the little words like dad, mom, dog, but not like most two/three olds. The doctors just think she is being lazy about it (this coming from multiple doctors, none of which say the is "slow"), but i think differently. She understands you if you tell her to get something or were going for a car ride, but she doenst know how to speek the words. My parents never had problems like this with me 20yrs and my sister 11yrs old. Did anyone ever hear of such a thing? And if so what happend, and how are they today..??

Where to start? I saw the Dr. and found out that I have a Staph infection. The Dr. said it looks like the type that is resistant to antibiotics, &I have to go for a follow up. Well, here's the thing, the Dr. told me the way you get this infection is through person to person contact. So basically, i'd have had to be in contact with a person that has the infection. The only person i've been in close contact with in that way, is my bf. So, I am wondering should I say something to him, or just take my antibiotics¬ worry him about it? Also, I found out from the gynecologist that I have a bacterial infection (not an STD). I don't know what to do. I want to tell him, but at the same time, I don't want him to think i'm accusing him of giving me anything...which i'm not doing. I realize that some things just happen,&the Dr. said Staph infections are common. How do I tell him about these without him thinking theres something wrong with me? Should I even say anything to him at all?

I have trifocal vision, an astigmatism, am nearsighted, 55 yrs. old, and fed up with glasses.

I talked with someone who said it's not guaranteed I'll have normal vision after the procedure, and still might have to wear glasses of some sort. Only for reading I could deal with but not glasses I'd have to wear all the time. It would defeat the purpose.

I will research this more, yet hoped for input from someone who's had laser surgery with vision simular or the same as (trifocal) mine. From the horses mouth so to speak. Are there any optometrists who might be online who can advise? Knowledgeable or experienced answers please.
Thanks!!!

I sit at a desk all day and I'm always SO exhausted by the end of the day, even though I haven't done anything. I get daily headaches/neck/backaches and see a chiropractor once a week... I'm only 22 years old! I get 6-8 hours of sleep at night, fairly regular excercise, drink tons of water and have a pretty balanced diet. I've been tested for anemia and thyroid problems. (Negative results) I don't feel sad, so I don't think I'm depressed, and usually if I play a little softball or go on a bikeride, I get energy in the evening. Do I just need to look for a job where I'm not sitting at a desk all day?
