Yes, that's part of it. Are you having trouble seeing or reading? How long have you had the glasses? Are you diabetic? That can affect it also. They recommend eye checks once a year.

I wore glasses for 21 years, finally parting with them six years ago with LASIK. I remember when I would first get a new pair of glasses, I was a little disoriented initially, but I quickly adjusted.

Dizziness would be a good sign of needed glasses as your eyes are probably out of sync with the prescription, which can happen over time. Nausea sounds like something else is going on, but needing to change your prescription might factor into that.

A really good indicator is if you are blurry-eyed with them on. It might be subtle, but if you have trouble reading things from afar and seeing clear edges of things, then it's definitely time to see an optometrist. If you believe nausea is a result of your prescription, an ophthalmologist might be a better idea.

Hope that helps.

Blurred vision could be one of the most common symptoms. When a person pases 50 years of age, their vision can change, making it difficult to focus their close vision.

Do you walk up to hat stands and start a conversation before you realize your mistake? That's one sign.
