I had kidney stones. I think it was in March or April. They had to be surgically removed. I am having the pain again. Is it likely to have them this soon again? Or, is it more likely to be some kind of infection or something? Please, let me know if you have had kidney stones this close together before, or if you know of anything that might help ease the pain.

I know there are lots of excellent doctors, but last week I took my granddaughter to the doctors because she was rolling around on the floor with tummy-ache. He just said that children often complain about that, and didn't know what it was.(She has a history of kidney infections. Four days later she's still the same, so we take her to out of hours surgery, where the doctor takes a sample and immediately tells us she has a bad kidney infection and blood in her water. The first doctor could have done the same test at the time. Could I have insisted he do it? Sorry to ramble.

Last night I went out with my father, and 2 co-workers, 1 co-worker I picked up (she has no car) and we went to a concert and my co-worker was drunk, she was falling all over the place and had the smell of liquor on her breath. She recently moved here and has no friends or family and she's a single woman. This is the first time I've seen her like this, however I've noticed many bruises, broken blood vessels, and seen other signs that are signs of an alcoholic. The thing that is difficult is that I have to work with her every day. I am concerned for her well being and her job. Also this woman is 20 years older than me. Should I confront her or leave her alone, and if I do confront her, how do I?
