If you've never taken Benadryl before and you have to get up and work in the morning then try only 1 cause you will beee verrrrry sllleeeeepppy and may not get up on time after 2. A lot of people do not know that Benadryl is the sleep aid in Tylenol PM and other over the counter sleep aids! Benadryl's generic name is diphenhydramine.

You need to follow the directions on the box unless directed otherwise by a physician. But one time when my young daughter was having an allergic reaction and we had already given her 4 Benadryl, the doctor advised us over the phone to give her up to 4 more if necessary and not to worry because she would just sleep it off and it wouldn't hurt her. It was necessary for the reaction of hives she was experiencing. So, it just depends on what your medical needs are. If it's just for a stuffy nose, I'm sure it should be much less.

dont take more than 50 mg. They usually come in 25 mg tablets,
over the counter. 50 mg tablets are available with a prescription. Part of it depends on how much you weigh. A larger person can handle 50 mg better than a small person. Start with 25 mg and see if that works for you

You would have to swallow fast to swallow them all before blacking out and going in to convulsions closley followed by painfull death, but I would guess the average adult could probably consume close to 130 if he could remain alive long enough.

i wouldn't take over 2 pills at a time and dont take over 8 in a 24 hour period.
