My mother was just told that she had no iron in her body and needs to get IV's to help out. She is getting them for the next two weeks. What can I do to help her out And what should I look out for to 1) avoid the possibility myself and 2) what side effects should she watch out for. Thanks for your help.

i've got a list of things (blood tests, pap smear, back problems, general questions). since i have so much to bring up, should i make my trip into 2 visits or just put it all on the table in the first?
