There has actually been studies on this topic.
What I have read has shown that mostly the married individual will live longer because of the sense of happiness and fulfillment. The married person will typically not be alone, which has also been prooven to extend the life.
Studies on people and animals have shown that a being can actually die of loneliness.
If you are looking for the majority of cases, this is what has been found, but of course, you can't group everyone into the same situation. You might find someone who is perfectly happy being unmarried and live a long fulfilling life and another person might be totally miserable being married and die younger.

From what I read a while back, happily married couples generally have a longer life span as compared to their single friends. It said that emotional happiness usually precedes good health and such. :)

statistically, married couples have a longer lfe-span.
If however, after a long marriage, the wife should die first, the man will live on average 4 or 5 years more before dying. If the husband should die first, the wife will live on average 10 or 15 years after.

statistically I think love adds 9 years and obesity takes 7 so I just got to find love an I can have all the food I want coz I don’t want the last 3

i know people say that married people do
but come on who has more fun?????
married people have stress..and after awhile no sex
single people laugh and enjoy life and have sex
i know married people laugh and enjoy life..but that fades
so my advice stay single and have fun after all old married people don't really remember each other and take turns wetting on theirselves
