Unfortunately the only home remedy I have found to really work is to take your meds and sleep - the more tired I get the more achy I get - then if I let it go too long and do get to bed I end up with restless legs syndrome and then cant sleep again - its a vicious cycle - for me I have had the diagnosis for 3 years and I now listen to my body - if there is heaps to do and there is no way out I push through it and then end up feeling sick - I also get nauseated when Im really tired so I take anti-nausea drugs and keep going - unfortunately though it takes me about 2 days to get over a weekend looking after my 5 year old (Im on my own with her) so obviously cant just stop with her all the time but I plan for the weekend - I rest really well on Thursday and Friday spend the weekend with my daughter and then recouperate Monday and Tuesday which basically leaves me Wednesday to do other stuff I have to do - earlier in the diagnosis I couldnt have done this and I cant work as I cant keep up with it - its too tiering but now that I have the condition basically under control and I have learned to manage it this way this is how I keep going - Im sorry I havent answered your question but I havent found any home remedy other than to just push through it and suffer later or leave everything till later if it can be left and take the pain meds as needed and sleeping meds as needed

This works great. First, wash the ulcer area with a little bit of over the counter peroxide(it will bubble). Then dab a wet finger into baking soda and put it on the ulcer area. Do that a couple times a day and it will be so much better in 12 hrs.
For just pain relief, keep some cold Maalox(any antacid) in the fridge and put some on the ulcer(I make Maalox popcicles in ice cube trays). The ulcer is full of acid and the Maalox is an antacid.
Feel better!

Many folk in my family have suffered from this condition for years. Most doctors will tell you that they have a lot to do with your diet. We have found this to be true in most cases. Dairy cultured products such as yogurts and butter milk are a very reliable cure. (If you like that stuff)

gargle with a strong mouth wash, take vit. c and drink plenty of liquids - juice, water, gatorade. If it gets worse, see a dentist. They have a one-time ointment that smells like sh*t but works overnight.

i don't know any home remedy but for mouth ulcers, i recommend amway's glister mouth spray/freshener. spray directly onto the ulcer and it'd get better pretty quickly.
