One day I was at a floor meeting in college (in September) and all the sudden, i saw black for a few seconds (and no one else did)....I asked them if they had......or if the lights flickered...they did not. So, I rushed to call my mom on the phone. Told her what happened. Next day, I went home and went to the doctor and my blood pressure was 140/100. Ever since then, I've been taking Loprssor 2 times a day. My doctor put me on HCZT, but it didn't help much. So now we're trying Prinivil.

**** Why did I see black for a few seconds??***
Scared me SOOO bad!!!!!!!!!!

I have a lot of trouble sleeping and now I've become addicted to Tylenol PM and Nyquil and those make me feel so groggy in the mornings, so I'm really trying to get away from those, but if I don't take them, I can't sleep at all. Tonight I bought some melatonin, so I'm about to take it, but I keep stressing out worrying about whether I am actually going to be able to fall asleep. I know that stressing about it is just going to make it harder to fall asleep, so I was just wondering if anyone who has taken it could tell me if it really helps you sleep or not? Thanks!

my friend cuts her self, yes its her fault and she knows it, but im worried about her...three or four days ago she cut (with a bit of broken glass), its not very deep but its very big and the center is greeny colour, she said it is hard to the touch and isnt VERY painful but slightly, also around it it has about a MM of redness, she also said that when she did it, it was very hot to the touch but isnt any more also she is not experienceing any symtoms in herself, she is willing to go to a doctor but not unless its really serious like it could end up geting like chopped off or something.

anyway thanks for listening, post your views pleaaase

I have rheumatoid arthritis, am 26 years old and since moving to Denver have NEVER had so much pain with it! Sure there have been times my whole body would flare up and it wouldn't be pleasant - but I am noticing more localized pain - specifically the BACK of my knees, my hips, and my shoulders - as well of course as toes and fingers. Why would it be so localized like this and what can I do?

Yes, I am overweight, but have been working on it! This month lost 16 lbs! YAY ME! I also sit long hours for work... but no more than I was before I moved here and am still doing my yoga, belly dancing and walking.

and if you ever shopped there you would know how big that store is. Sometimes i have to guide people around the store , back and forth carrying things , and if not those things , i have to stand at the register for about 7 hrs straight. Which is more often. I don't have much of a problem about walking around , cause i used to work at a diner running back and forth for 10 hrs , But its the standing in one spot for so long, My feet are killing me , plus this is my part- time job , I have a full time job as well , i am trying everything i can to clear all my debt as i have to much. But what can i do for the pain in the feet , its horrible. I have insoles(gellies), i bought sneakers a size bigger. Do you think weight is an issue. I am not obese but i think i am slightly overweight for my height. The crazy thing is that my body is not even that exhausted, it should'nt be , i am only 24, its only my feet , please help..

What could it be? It's only when I lay down, and only when I exhale.

Well, I have been having pain and tingling in my hand, fingers, 4arm, and sometimes a little higher up (bicep, shoulder). I went for a Carpal Tunnel Test and it was a no for that. What other conditions can cause this kind of pain. I don't always have the pain, unless I do something to bring the pain on. For instance: If I throw something (ball, etc.) I immediately feel the pain and tingling.

What could be wrong?

I recently injured my ankle (the physio believes I have bruised my heel bone), but with pain relief, physio treatment and by supporting the ankle by bandaging it I was able to continue my day to day life.

This morning I woke up with a tingling sensation in my big toe, this has gradually spread through to several other toes, down the left inside section of my foot and down to my heel. The pain has dramatically increased to the point where I can not do anything. I am seeing the physio this afternoon, however I honestly doubt she will be of much help and therefore am looking into different treatment options.

I have had acupuncture on my foot before, however due to my needle phobia I would prefer if I did not have to go through with it again. I was thinking about laser acupuncture, and will defiantley look into that. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

He said he's in no pain he jsut can't do anything with it? Any ideas on what this could be? He's going to see a doctor tomorrow but the infermary wasn't open today because it's a sunday. Thanks, all answers will be considered.

I woke up this morning, with intense knee pain. This is a pain I have had before, usally after a lot of walking. But this time there has been no warning. I did a bit of stooping down, while shopping yesterday, but other than that nothing strenous. I am 31 now, back when i was 11 or 12, I popped something in my knee, I can't remember if its the same one or not.

I seem to have the most pain at the frontward range of motion while trying to walk.

Also when I have had this pain in the past its usually brief, but this time it has hurt all day so far.

We bought a Sealy True Foam ( 11") Theurapetic mattress about 2 months ago, pretty much because of my back pain, and for the first weeks we though it still hurts because I needed to adapt to the new mattress but, instead, I got worse and also my husbund start having back pain too! So, we'll try to take it back and possibly exchange it with another one, but I don't know which one!?Should we go with another foam one, maybe a firmer one or ....what kind?! Thanks!
