I woke up this morning, with intense knee pain. This is a pain I have had before, usally after a lot of walking. But this time there has been no warning. I did a bit of stooping down, while shopping yesterday, but other than that nothing strenous. I am 31 now, back when i was 11 or 12, I popped something in my knee, I can't remember if its the same one or not.

I seem to have the most pain at the frontward range of motion while trying to walk.

Also when I have had this pain in the past its usually brief, but this time it has hurt all day so far.

You may of pulled a muscle in your knee...
put ice in a zip lock bag, and put it on and off your knee...it will numb the pain and help with the swelling...if you have Ibuprophen, take some...it will also help wirh pain and swelling...good luck!!
