My brother is in the Marine Corps. and he called tonight to tell my mom that his wrist is acting really weird. His left wrist won't move. Like when he sticks his arm out his wrist just dangles there. He said he's in no pain he jsut can't do anything with it? Any ideas on what this could be? He's going to see a doctor tomorrow but the infermary wasn't open today because it's a sunday. Thanks, all answers will be considered.

If it were carpel tunnel the wrist can still move,it just makes the thumb index &long finger go numb........It sounds to me like he has a ligament / tendon problem.I hope this is not the case as this problem would more than likley require surgery. Please let your brother know that I thank him for protecting our Great Country! And I also hope his wrist will be ok.......Peace to you and yours!!!!!!!!!!!
