I have gotton this pain that came very suddenly.
It is just below my left rib cage and sometimes to the right side of it. The pain has been there for about a day now. It comes and goes but sometimes it is sharp and painful that I gasp. Its not appendicitis because I have had mine out.
Any Ideas??

If it's not classified as a narcotic but is as strong as one is that because it's man made?
What I mean to say is metaphorically speaking If Tramadol were a street drug it would be considered a designer drug correct?

very embarrassing, but i have bump under my tailbone that hurts when i put pressure on it. i asked this a couple of times already and alot of people mentioned it being a cyst. although the pain matches that of a cyst, i see no visible traces of any type of weird skin qualities in that area. i just wanna know what the hell is wrong with me and what to do (w/o going to the doc if at ALL possible) because i cant stand this pain.

talk about embarrassing but woke up this morning with a very painful bump that feels hard like a second bone under my tailbone (above the anus). its under my skin but it really hurts when i sit on it or put any sort of pressure on it. i've read some stuff on the internet about it but i cant really find similar problems to mine.

i havent told anyone because i dont know if its a really big deal or not yet (or if it will go away on its own), but my mom thinks im paranoid about my health most of the time which is why i didnt tell her. please give me any advice at all, i want to avoid a doc if i can but ill do what i have to. thanks

My doctor just told me that I have the early stages of Fibromialgia. I just hurt in random places all the time. All my labs came back fine. I also have many of the depression and fatigue symtoms. So I think the diagnosis is fitting. However, my mom told me that she doesn't think that FB is a real disorder. Why would she say that? I'm feeling real pain!

I have had horrible ongoing abdominal pain for about a month now. I have already had my appendix removed. I have seen the doctor multiple times and they say nothing really wrong and send me home with more pain meds.

Please help. Let me know what you think I could have

heres the deal. Every time I have an ache or pain, i think its serious, and its not. Example: i have a headache, i think its a brain tumor. Its just a headache. Does this need counseling, or is it just something i need to learn to "shrug off"?

I was doing wallflips and when i went for one last one I got a lil too far out on a jump and when i flipped i hit the ground and landed on my buttox and rolled back and when I stood up, I got a surge of pain from what seemed to be my tailbone. the pain has gone down alot but it still have pain when I either try to stand up, sit down, or bend over, pretty much whenever i move my back to do omething but not all the time and now I am getting tired of feeling pain. Should I see a doctor or can i just let it heal on its own? If I can avoid a doctor visit, hw long will it take to heal?

I have heel spurs in my feet and they cause me tremendous pain and my feet swell sometimes. I can't be on them very long w/o them hurting. I went to my foot doctor a while back. He prescribed anti-inflammatory pills and casted my feet for ortodics to put in my shoes to wear. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

Well, starters im now 17 and a couple years ago I had fallen off of a chair and I attempted to redeem the chair from falling so i tilted it the opposite way it was falling (i was standing on the chair) well the chair than flipped over my head and I had put my arm out and bounced back off my arm and hit my spine and neck off a desk that was sitting behind me. i had gone to the hospital to get checked out and they said I shouldnt be alive because of how I landed but yet they never did any tests so i figured I'd be ok but now from time to time I get really bad pains in my back and I feel like im going to collapse as well I get where my heart races and starts to hurt do you think there is some kind of connection and what could be wrong with both my back and heart??

I know with an injury like this you're supposed to rest it but i can't rest TOO much because i still have to run to get in shape for fall sports.

I can't really ice it because when it hurts, it hurts in at least 3 different spots from my hip to my knee at the same time.

My dad (who was a sports medicine doctor, now radiologist) gave me some stretches but none of them get the spot where it actually hurts.

What else can i do?

A couple months ago, early this year, I was rough housing with my dogs and stood on my couch. I got unbalanced and smacked my *** into the beam behind the cushions, I had taken them off. It wasn't like the beam had much to go through, my butt is unrealistically tiny. All of my underwear are too baggy, but, that's besides my point.

After it, my butt hurt, of course, but I also felt slightly nauseous. There was a bump, but no bruise and it hurt very badly.

The bump is gone and it doesn't hurt as much as it used to, but I can't sit on it for very long without it hurting. Which means, I ALWAYS have to sit on my side.

I never went to get it looked at. Don't have any health insurance and can't afford the check-up, so my *** just hurts every time I sit since then. But, it's okay, I can use that as my excuse not to sit long. :P

Any ideas?

Oh, and please, feel free to laugh. It is kind of funny. :)
