I was doing wallflips and when i went for one last one I got a lil too far out on a jump and when i flipped i hit the ground and landed on my buttox and rolled back and when I stood up, I got a surge of pain from what seemed to be my tailbone. the pain has gone down alot but it still have pain when I either try to stand up, sit down, or bend over, pretty much whenever i move my back to do omething but not all the time and now I am getting tired of feeling pain. Should I see a doctor or can i just let it heal on its own? If I can avoid a doctor visit, hw long will it take to heal?

you can place an ice pack on the area of the injury for fifteen minutes, several times a day. Advil liquid capsules help with pain, take them four times daily.

If you don't feel better in a few days your going to have to see a medical doctor because you could have done some sort of serious damage. There's no way to predict how long it will take for you to feel better.

oh man
i know how you feel it really sucks
i was running backwards in soccer on our gay soccer field, there was a little hole i tripped on it and fell really hard on my butt
and the ground was hard cracked mud eww
i had the exact same symptoms as you did
i never went to the doctor so i dont know if i broke it or bruised it or if it was nothing i wish i did though..
but i stuck an icepack in my pants =p for 20 mins every few hours
it took a few weeks for the pain to go away when i bend over and move my back
but it was months before the pain went away when i sat down/stood up
it was awful durring school- the seats are terrible and it hurt so bad
and it was kinda embarrassing, they were like whats wrong?? and i would just be like my butt hurts ahhh!!
haha
it will heal on its own and a doctor wouldnt really do much for you i mean its not like you can put a cast on your butt =]
they would just tell you to rest, ice it and take painkillers
if you have the suspicion that its broken, increase your calcium intake
but im so sorry its not gonna be the most fun next few weeks
hope your butt feels better =pp
