i got a small burn about the size of maybe a nickel. i received it when taking something out of an oven and accidentally touching the top/inside of the oven. I've tried neosporin and put gobs on. Also tried a bandaid that had antiseptic on it. And then without anything it just scabs a little. what is the best remedy/solution? plus it itches.. any suggestions on remedies for that?i just want it to heal quick and go away.

I have Fibromyalgia and my back hurts daily especially in the mid back where my bra stap lies. If I could avoid it all together I would but being a 38C cup size, it is not an option while in public. I am constantly aware of pain but after wearing bras for a few hours, I am in misery. Can any of you reccomend the best choices including brands, prices and locations of where to find them. Breast reduction is not currently an option financially and I don't know if it would help with the mid back pain anyways as other areas of my body are affected as well.

yesterday i noticed a very noticeable pain in my tail bone, it just seemed to appear one day and it only seems to get worse. it REALLY hurts when i press it down and sometimes when i sit down. i have mild scoliosis but ive had that for as long as i can remember, but this pain started just the other day. i dont see how that can be related. i didnt fall on my *** or anything so it wasnt an injury. please give me any help that you can, i want to try to avoid seeing another doctor (plus my mom thinks i worry too much about my health and physical conditions so i really have to prove to her that somethings wrong with me cuz usually nothing is). it might be just bad posture but please give me any ways to get rid of this PLEASE!

My friend knows she has a pinched nerve and herniated discs in her neck, and has the exact same headache symptoms I do. She is unaware of at-home help. I happen to know my chiropractor-boss once adjusted my neck and the pain was instantly gone.
So, does anyone know of a way to resolve this? At the very least, even if I'm wrong about my diagnosis, you will be helping her!
Thank you.

Hi my mother was recently prescribed norco for headaches and back pain.she takes about 1 tablet a day. Is this going to damage her liver? I know that he gave this to her because it does not have a lot of acetomophine in it…..if taking just 1 a day will it severly damage her liver?
Thanks!

I've just stared running crosscountry and i think i may have shin splints. It could be that I ran with worn shoes or that i slept wrong and i ran on my leg. The pain is very little now that i;ve been icing it. i have practice everyday and i think i'm going to rest for tommorow and talk to the coach? what should i do if i do have them?

I'm enrolled in a massage therapy course and I received a massage from another student on my foot. She had missed the previous class and made the mistake of massaging away from the heart on the top of the foot. Now my some of the veins on the top of my foot pop up when I'm standing and my foot keeps falling asleep - so she definitely blew out some of the valves.

My question: Is there any chance of this healing itself?

I spoke with the doctor who runs the school and he said that when possible to keep it elevated and that it should heal within a month or so. Can anyone confirm this?

I got a HORRIBLE sunburn this weekend (my 1st one ever). I've been putting on aloe gel, ice packs, and taking tylenol. I even went to my Dr. who told me to just keep on doing what I'm doing. My face has started to peel, but my shoulders are KILLING ME. Does anyone have any tips? And how long is this going to last? =o(

i recently had a porcelain crown placed on my back tooth. since i had it done i have had extreme sensitivity on it. i went back to the dentist several times (this has been over 3 months ongoing) and finally today he realized that some of my roots were exposed. he put a desensitizing liquid on it and told me we would have to do this every 2 weeks until it healed. do exposed roots really heal themselves? if so how does it work. the funny thing is i never had problems with this tooth before he put the cap on. now i cant even chew on that side of my mouth! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i've been doing pushups lately, in sets of 15-20 ea and I've been starting to get pain right below my shoulder next to my armpit on both my right and left and i think they muscle knots. I usually don't stretch, so i think that's why i get them but i'm not sure.

Could anybody tell me about how long it will take for them to go away, and also if It would be ok to still do things such as pull\chin ups and pushups after stretching while i have them or if that would aggrivate it?

Thanks.

I have what look like red spots on my testicles and occasionally they bleed. Also, I have two dark, what look like vericose (sp?) veins on them as well. Does anyone know what this is? They bleed for no apparent reason, but it doesn't happen often.

I was rear-ended a week ago from yesterday, so hard it totaled my car. The ER said x-rays were fine and my regular check up doctor last Thursday said I was just imflammed and sore. I am going back this Thursday because it seems the pain in my lower back is worsening. The weird thing about it is when I sit for long periods, I work 8 to 9 hours a day (sitting at a computer) I usually start to feel the pain around lunch time and by this time 3 to 4 p.m. I am moving & re-adjusting trying to get comfort...even the pain pills don't elevate the pain, only when I get home and lay down. What could this be? Thanks.

It started geting red right away and the area was very painful for several hours after the bite. I was bit on the back of my calf right below the back of my knee. Today, the area is red, hot and the size of an orange. The bite itself is sorta hard to the touch and I think there is only one little hole where I was bit. There is no swelling at all. I feel a little groggy/lightheaded and weak/tired. It's not severe, but I am wondering what it could be. I'm from central Ohio, so I am assuming it's a spider bite.

Well earlier, I was sitting on my bedroom floor plugging my radio on. I noticed that I couldn't move my head or turn my head to the right, or else it hurt REALLY BAD. I have scoliosis by the way. Anyway, it kept getting worse and worse until I couldn't move my head at all and it was leaning to the left nearly all the way. Then I was getting dressed, it was gone! I still can't move my head ALL the way around without it hurting, but I can like...put it up straight. But now it's just more comfortable putting it to the side. My dad was going to call my orthopedist but didn't. Now it's coming back. What could this be?

Over the past year or so, I wake up with upper right back pain. It is very inconsistent and can go a few weeks without any pain and then a few weeks with pain every morning. I usually wake from my sleep and can't get back to sleep. I've gotten an MRI and nothing showed up. The back specialist said he saw nothing physicially wrong with my back. My primary physician suggested it may be acid reflux, but I don't believe it is as I don't feel like I have acid reflux.

What could be wrong with my back?
