I have Fibromyalgia and my back hurts daily especially in the mid back where my bra stap lies. If I could avoid it all together I would but being a 38C cup size, it is not an option while in public. I am constantly aware of pain but after wearing bras for a few hours, I am in misery. Can any of you reccomend the best choices including brands, prices and locations of where to find them. Breast reduction is not currently an option financially and I don't know if it would help with the mid back pain anyways as other areas of my body are affected as well.

I would not recommend wearing a larger bra size, because then your breasts will be less supported and that might make the pain worse.

First of all, make sure your bra fits. Here's my bra fitting page: http://www.belladonnaeyes.co.uk/bra_fitting_part_01.htm

That should eliminate any problems resulting from your bra not fitting. Then you need to find some comfortable bras, maybe soft cup. I suggest looking at http://www.figleaves.com
They will be able to help you with your particular situation.

I have Fibromyalgia and went through the same thing you are going through. If you can find a bra that fastens in the front it might be less stressful on your back. The other option is to wear a larger than normal size so that it's not so constricting on your muscles. I know how it is about clothing touching the body with Fibromyalgia. I have to wear everything very loose because even my socks hurt me.

I hope this helps.
