i got a small burn about the size of maybe a nickel. i received it when taking something out of an oven and accidentally touching the top/inside of the oven. I've tried neosporin and put gobs on. Also tried a bandaid that had antiseptic on it. And then without anything it just scabs a little. what is the best remedy/solution? plus it itches.. any suggestions on remedies for that?i just want it to heal quick and go away.

Run cold water over it... lots. Then you can use some aloe vera on it or I recommend 2ndSkin bandages that you can buy at any pharmacy. They are a water gel bandage that cool and soothe the burn. The itching means that it is healing so this is good. I'm afraid that it will take as long as it will take for it to heal.. probably close to a week. There isn't much you can do to speed up the healing process.
