I'm scared to go to the doctors because I'm afraid that they will take my toe out and now its bandaged. It still hurts a little bit but I'm hoping that the toenail will re-attach itself. Can somebody please help me?

I used to get one every few months, but recently it's more like once a week, and I had five at work this evening. They used to be sudden and over quickly, but lately they last longer. Tonight they seemed to have echoes; the stab would last for ten or fifteen seconds, but a lingering aching/sore feeling would persist for another minute or two. How can I keep these from reoccuring?

Ok... So, basically the story is, I was trying to do a trick on my skateboard and somehow it ended up between my legs o.O. It swelled up and I went to the ER.

They told me I had a hematoma on my labia majora. I stayed at the hospital overnight for a day and they sent me home. They gave me a Sitz bath which I have been using every night.

The hematoma is about the size of an orange.. literally. And it is black in color. Basically, what I am trying to figure out is what will make it heal faster? And an estimate on how long it will take to heal. One doctor says it will take about 6 full weeks to heal, while another doctor says that the majority of the swelling goes down in about a few days.

Any help or outside rescources on where to learn more will be really helpful. Thank you :)

I used debrox and now I can't hear from my right ear. I used it on my left ear and it was fine, but I can't hear at all from my right ear. Does this happen to a lot of people? Maybe an earwax got stuck while the solution tried to remove it? It literally feels like I have earplugs on. I can't hear jack.

A week or two ago I fell and hit my lip, causing my front tooth to break the skin. It healed up nicely except for this bump underneath the skin. It has not gotten any bigger or smaller, but it is painful if pressure is applied. Could this be an infection, and do I need to see my doctor about this?

Okay, the doctor put me on Cymbalta for pain and to help with some of my slight depression. I have Sjorgren's and Rhemitoid arthritis. Some days I hurt really bad and it is hard to be in a good mood when you hurt. Any way, he wants me also to go to pain management but my mom says insurance won't cover that. Why wouldn't they and is she correct? Also, has your doctor ever put you on that for pain? Thanks!

I am currently doing a really intense tennis camp that lasts from 8:00am to 5:00pm. When I wake up in the morning, I am naturally very sore with muscle aches and what not. I have three more days of the camp still left.

There are a lot of medications out there for muscle pain, wrist pain, etc, but I want to know, in your experience, what is the best pain medication out there for muscle soreness and small joint pain caused by an intense amount of exercise?

Firstly I want a lip piercing preferably snake bites.

I've just left school and i'm going to a strict catholic college (so in short it's not permitted and I don't want to bend the rules as I really want a place in this college - cos it's good)

I have till september to get it done but I have a problem even if it did heal enough to take it out while i'm at school there is the matter of my grandparents.

They won't approve it will cause an enormous feud thingy and i don't want to be written out of their will. I have to visit them every other weekend I cannot avoid this as my aunty birthday is half way through the holidays so I will have to see them at least once.

So to my question.

How will I hide it? Or the better alternative how long can I take my piercing out for before it has healed properly. I have a maximumn of six weeks before college...

You may say why bother if it's such a problem but it's kinda a matter of principle i mean I really want this no point discouraging me.

Does it seem sensible to anyone that our most respected professions are our least paid and most poorly resourced. Does it seem right to anyone that Junior Doctors form Africa and Asia who were being trained at a huge cost to the British Government are suddenly refused work permits and get sent home. Does it seem sensible to anyone that fully qualified foreign nurses cannot get into the NHS for want of a induction and they have to work as carers only. Have we lost all respect for our most nobel of all professions?. Nurses have had enough and are about to be balloted on industrial action in the Autumn. Why do you think it has come to this?

I take anti-inflammatories & muscle relaxers. I exercise. I wear a lumbar corset. An MRI test results today show 2 herniated discs. Now I have to go for physical therapy, too.
What other treatments are used for this?

In Tesco's today and my lower back "clicked". Since then I have been in a lot of pain. Can hardly walk and in extreme pain when I try to lift legs (i.e. to get into bed). Painkillers had no effect. Can anyone offer any advice? I never suffered with back problems before.

It doesn't happen too too often, but sometimes I get these pains in the left side of my chest, shoulder blade and shoulder joint. I've asked my doctor about it, but she says that it's probably an empathetic pain from an upset stomach..etc..
I'm having a hard time believing her.
It doesn't happen frequently enough for me to want to go to the emergency room or anything, and it normally only lasts about 5--10 minutes, but when it happens the pain is so intense, I can hardly move my arm. Anyone know anything about this?

Hello, my name is Mike and I am 15. I masturbate for 1 year, and probably like every teenager I do it once a day, ussualy 4 hours before I go to sleep. The problem is, every time I finish masturbating I'm feeling a litle tired, a litle hungry and I feel something in my head like it's empty or something. (lol) Can't describe it but it's like feeling my brain like I feel my leg, arm. (note: I only masturbate for 5 minutes). Also I feel some minor stuff going on in there. (not the most scientific explanation) My head doesen't hurt but it's a strange sensation. Besides this I feel the need of oxigen, of breathing because of tyring probably. Are these things normal? This is very important for me so I want to solve this once and for all. Please help and thank you in advance for your answers.

i am in total agony, with a lot of pain in my lower back, and radiating into my right hip. i dont have much money to spend, but i need pain help. ive been in pain for probably 5 months, and my doctors insisted that i was not in pain. now after an mri showed a bulging disk and a pinched nerve in my back, they are refusing me pain meds. im on a lot of other meds, for different stuff, so herbal is not an option. i dont have the money or any insurance to cover chiro or massage therapy. does hot water or ice packs work? is there a massager i can buy to help with the pain. it has to be low cost though. any other ideas would be nice. im not supposed to stretch it, or carry anything over 10-15lbs. i am basically bedridden at the moment, because movement causes me serious pain

I'm a college student who just returned from a year abroad in Europe to a busy summer job working at a camp, teaching swimming and gymnastics lessons. I work from 8-5:30 most days, and get the weekends off. I've been noticing that I've been getting pretty bad headaches at work lately and I don't know whether it's due to being out in the sun all time and getting dehydrated (I always keep a water bottle with me and try to drink a lot, but being out in the sun, I'm always dehydrated at the end of the day) - or something else, as I've also been feeling lightheaded and tired lately. Even on my days off, I've been lightheaded only an hour or two after a snack or meal. On work days, I eat breakfast at 6:30, and lunch at 12. If I don't have a snack in between, I start to go downhill in the day and feel lightheaded before lunch and get bad headaches in the afternoon.

Is this normal, or should I worry? I'm about 5'3" and about 150, so about 15 pounds over ideal weight.
