The clips are in there to hold ducts closed if they havent sealed the bile ducts with heat. Most of the time, the tubes are left in the body when organs are taken out and the tubes and ducts are, like I said, either clipped shut or sealed by using heat to connect the tissue together.

I'm not an expert but I would get a second opinion. One of my friends went to Mexico once and broke his arm and went to a hospital to get an X Ray. He told me that the doctor there did better than the one he went to here. Im not saying our doctors are bad or that you should go to Mexico for a check up but get a second opinion. I personally would be a bit curious if there was a clip just bouncing around in my body.

I didn't know it, until I had x-rays for something else, that I had clips in me from a gallbladder surgery. But that is normal, my husband has had two serious surgeries, and he has clips, plates and pins, inside of him. The plate and pins hurt in the winter when he gets out in the cold. I expect anyone who has had any type of surgery has clips in them, and doesn't know it. They leave them in on purpose, and your body heals around them. Don't worry about it.
