well - yesterday i started my volleyball practicing & like have way through practice i found it hard to move my legs in any way. my legs might be sore, but no1 else on the team has had any problem with it! i can't even sit down without my eye waterin or being in pain * i dont know what to do about it?

Can the cold water in a swimming pool numb your genitals causing you to not have any sensations?

My boyfriend and I were having sex in the pool and I couldnt even feel him inside me. He said that he wasnt feeling anything either. We never have a problem anywhere else.

My 3-year-old daughter was bitten by a dog we were fostering for a rescue organization, and she has several sutures on her face and hand that will be removed on Friday. As Friday gets closer, I'm getting more stressed about this because she's already been through so much. I've never had sutures removed before, so I have no idea what to expect. Can anyone tell me if it's painful?

I class myself as an insomniac and frequently sleep less than 5 hours per day. I get annoyed with myself for not going to bed when I feel tired because then I suddenly become wide awake and find it hard to shut-off. I must say, however, when I do sleep longer (around 8 hours) I look bloody awful the next morning- with big saggy bags beneath my eyes NOT ATTRACTIVE!

I have a horrible stomach ache. I know a lot of times that if you have a stomach ache and you throw up that it makes you feel a lot better. The problem is I can't make myself throw up. Can anybody tell me if there is a way I can make myself so that this awful stomach ache will go away? Please hurry!

Hi there, I have a weird tender spot on my index finger. It is very very tiny and you can barely see it. It is brown. I'm pretty sure it isn't a splinter as i'm not really around wood any. It really hurts whenever I rub it against something (clothing, keyboard, etc.). I'm about to put a medicated bandaid on it, but was hoping I could get y'alls opinions on it....thanks.

ok well a few days ago, i played baseball for 6 hours straight. yesterday, i got bad stomach pains and was felt sick to my stomach. i went to the ER and i was dehyrdated. my stomach pains pretty much went away but still have back pains. they said i pulled a muscle. what can i do to relieve the pain, how long will it tke to go away?

I've had severe nerve pain for about 4 years, I am on disability - I was approved the first time. That should tell you how severe it has been. T11 and T12 were severely rotated, and T10, L1 L2 were also rotated. The pain runs across the #11 Nerve - Intercostal nerve. They tried meds like Neurontin and Lyrica,they helped with the pain a lot but I couldn't tolerate either, both caused me severe side effects and I had to quit both. All they can do is give me narcotics and send me to the pain clinic - both methods are ineffective for me.I've improved a lot in the past year, mostly through physical therapy - but I still don't have enough control of pain - and I'm trying to get where I can work again. My wife died a year ago (she was 42, I am 45 now) -and I don't want to be home all the time,I want to be productive, and I try very hard.The pain along the 11 nerve is still fairly bad,and if I go off the narcotics it's unmanageable. I've gone to lots of doctors for 4 years,not much help

I am used to ALOT more,,,but my DR is MAD and cut me off,,,after 2 years of this med, because i ran out short a few times,,,,My lower back is really hurting,,but she gave me 10 mg oxy twice a day for yesterday today tomorrow and thur,,,BUT thats it so,,,,i am scared,,,,,I have to go back to work friday, and was wondering if there is anything i can take to help? I asked for something to help and she said NO,,,,I'm sorry but thats not right,,,,,I DID run out early BUT thats the worse thing i did! Nothing else! I am really getting woried because my backis starting to feel like its burning and is starting to hurt alot,,,,What can i do for this feeling? Continuous ache, it hurts to take a deep breathe, I have been having other back aches, but none this bad. I am not sure what it is, i know i should talk to a doctor, but i dont know who to talk to them about. It is centered around the middle of my back, from my shoulder blades, to my small of my back and out to my sides. Now i dont wana hear any shouts telling me to go to the hospital, or any screaming of how horrible it is and ranting. i would like real facts, and logical sense. its 8pm for me my local doctor is gone, and the hospital around here is usualy very busy. im afraid though it could be a trapped nerve or pressure on a disk.

He has a large hard bump on his arm, it is hot to touch and quite painful. He says he only noticed it today, and he hadn't injured it today. Although 2 days ago at the park he fell off the monkeybars onto this arm and it had hurt him at the time. Any ideas ??

when i blow out air in a whistleling manner, without actually whistleling, i hear these cracking noises in my ear, and a couple of weeks ago when i was playing the guitar, my left ear when a lil deaf with a ringing noise, im really worried cuz music is really important part of my life, what can i have, any suggestions on what to do ?

I've been expiericing some pain in my right eye now for the past 5 days.

I went to my eye doctor, he says he saw nothing wrong. He said I might have some inflammation due to wearing new contact lenses so he gave me some eye drops and sent me home.

I want to mention, I do have Multiple Sclerosis and I did suspect Optic neuritis but the eye doctor and my neurologist said they don't believe that's the issue because my vision is fine and they see no signs of it.

So I went to my PCP, she said that my eye looks ok but she sent me for a CT scan just to make sure there was nothing serious going on with my eye/behind the eye.

She told me she believes I'm suffering from Migraines, but I don't feel as if it is a migraine.

Is eye pain with movement and steady dull achy pain behind the eye common with Migraines?

I have had many eye problems, ive had eye muscle surgery, and so on and so forth. Ive always had eye pain and have been to many eye doctors who can't explain it, ive had a cat scan to eliminate that i dont have sinusitis, but my eyes always hurt the worse when its raining, have any suggestions?

Geez - I'm just sitting here working on the computer and I got such a sharp pain right under my bottom rib on the left hand side of my body. Nothing else feels wrong - no fever, no pain in my arms, etc... Just that one pain. It even hurts to try and stretch it out. What could it be?

I hit my head in January and the pain has never left. Its not a headache, or so Im told, just a pain. Its on the top of my head and feels more pressure like than anything else. It gets worse at night or when doing something strenuous. None of my doctors or neurologist know what it is. Ive had a CT scan and a MRI and both were normal. Ive also been treated for migraines and tension headaches and neither helped. Have you heard of anyone having this problem? Any suggestions on how to make it stop?

Everyone and all the literature says it shouldn't hurt at all to have it removed, but it did SO BADLY! Now I have to have another removed tomorrow and I'm scared to death. What do I do to make it hurt less? It's on a string taped to my leg and just having the string in alone hurts so much I've missed a week of work. What do I do?

I broke my leg and I'm really upset because I'm loosing so much time staying at home. I want to make this time useful but don't know what can I do while I'm not able to leave home(it's already awful because it's summer). stresses me out, so I thought I'll just take this drug and see if one day I realize I'm not smoking anymore. Should I feel bad about doing it that way? It is an amazing drug. I find myself "forgetting" to smoke. Hours and hours will go by and I'll be like "wow, haven't had a smoke, still don't feel like it." So my question is: should I feel bad that I haven't picked an actual quit date and don't plan on doing so?

Since when is it not okay for urine to be yellow? I went to the doctor's and he informed me that it should be clear. Did I not get the email?

I know if it's orange you have too much salt in your system and if it is green you have too much sugar in your system, but I always thought it was supposed to be yellow.

Why am I always out of the loop?
