Hi there, I have a weird tender spot on my index finger. It is very very tiny and you can barely see it. It is brown. I'm pretty sure it isn't a splinter as i'm not really around wood any. It really hurts whenever I rub it against something (clothing, keyboard, etc.). I'm about to put a medicated bandaid on it, but was hoping I could get y'alls opinions on it....thanks.

What can I do to prevent it if it is a wart or bunion?

You could have picked up a little splinter of some kind, like a tiny sliver of metal from a can. I would recommend that you get some drawing salve. If they don't have it at the drugstore, they sell it on e-bay. If you put that on with a bandaid, it will draw it right out of your skin.
