A week or two ago I fell and hit my lip, causing my front tooth to break the skin. It healed up nicely except for this bump underneath the skin. It has not gotten any bigger or smaller, but it is painful if pressure is applied. Could this be an infection, and do I need to see my doctor about this?

It could be an infection, but most likely it is scar tissue. If the pain doesn't go away in a week, go to the doctor.

Maybe it chipped off a piece of you're tooth in there, and the skin healed over it , need to see the doctor about it.

No infection, scar tissue. It'll go away in a few days.

It is probably scar tissue. I'd wait a few months and if it is still sensitive, mention it to your doc.

Scar tissue. If it was infected you'd know it.
