I just applied in march for SS. I know if accepted the payments will start from the day I applied. I JUST had my doctor sign the papers that I am disabled for a minimum of 6-12 months. I haven't been able to work since Sept. 11 and he wrote on the papers that it was the first time he started treating me for my injury. Social security says you must have been unable to work at least a year or will not be able to for a year. I am wondering if since the doc stated that he started seeing me at the onset of my injury, if they will count the past 8 months AND the minimum of the next 6-12 months disabled in just determining if I qualify. I know I qualify in being disabled for the next 6-12 months. I know if accepted I will get PAID from the date I applied. But will the 8 months prior count just in determining the "must have been or will be disabled for 12 months"? The last 8 months with the following 6 months will give me 14 months so I will qualify.

I recieved an email that this guy got stung by a bee and his doctor said next time tape a penny on it. He said he tried it, and it took the sting out, and it was gone by morning.

I'm not sure if I spelled it right, but does anyone know why a label would have that word on it? it was a small red label that seems to come from a medicine or other package.

Hi, I'm 12 and wondered if it was possible that I'm developing premature arthritis. I never ever stop shaking. If I hold my hand out at any time it will be shaking like mad, I never feel cold or scared and my blood pressure is on the lower side for my age. I have very long, thin fingers they are size xxsmall but are so long that I have to wear men's sized gloves. Now my ring fingers and little fingers are going looking really bendy and wonky. I wondered if this was arthritis and if it's a problem. I hope it's not 'cos I love to write, play the flute and sew and if I did have arthritis that would mean I couldn't do those things well wouldn't it?

I think the back of my foot (heel area, just below my achilles) is sharper than normal, because all of my shoes for my right foot wear down inside to the point of no cushion. It can be painful after a while. Are there Dr. Scholl type things I can use?

I have recently seen a doctor and they said to stop all sports.
However, my professional fitness coach has said to play until pain and then stop.
Who do I go with?

Its at my tail bone and over to the left about 5 inches. That is where it starts and there it is a constant sharp pain. Then if I stretch down to feet or sit for to long I feel it down my left leg. Also there is a ton of pressure. It feels like I need to pop my lower back constantly. I was told its a herniated disk L5S1 and its sitting on my sciatic nerve but now they say I need to have surgury to fix it. I am 24 and back surgury is so scarey to me. However its hurting bad now even as I type this...
Any of you had something similar to this and if so what did you do or have done to fix it.
OUUUUCHY lol

Last night, I was standing up to get a folder of mine and, as I was standing up, I leaned over to go to a website and when I went down to my mouse, I felt something happen in my lower back and I haven't been able to move since. It hurts even to move and even walk and move my legs. I am in excruciating pain and it took me over 30 minutes of screaming to get out of bed. Since I've been up, I haven't stopped standing, as it hurts way too much to even attempt to sit. The problem is that I have class today and an exam and I can't miss. Is there any way I can do something to make this better or at least tolerable? I can barely move to go anywhere, much less a chiropractor. Thanks.

Ok so this pretty much has been going on all my life. I go to sleep at night, and some of the times at a reasonable hour (ha), but when I wake up in the morning I feel like I didn't sleep long at all. I also have profuse head aces and feel like regurgatating. I also feel like this when I go to sleep REALLY early. I have gone to sleep at like 6PM and woke up around 7AM and I still feel the same! Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this? Is it normal?
