Just breathe deeply and do a repetitive task such as polishing, washing up or even clicking a pen top slowly. Counting helps too.
Failing that, go for a walk somewhere quiet and peaceful with no urgency or time restrictions.

You are in control of your own body.

Adrenaline is a good thing. It's nature's way of pumping you up to handle an emergency. Take a nice, long, slow walk. Smell the flowers, see the trees, smile and wave to little children and neighbors, breath deep. By the time you get back, you'll feel fine.

I would try running a little bit and/or even listening to a type of music mix that begins with music that fits your current mode but then transcends into a more calmer mellow mode.
