My upper heel rubs inside my shoe and wears down the material, making it uncomfortable. What can I do?

I think the back of my foot (heel area, just below my achilles) is sharper than normal, because all of my shoes for my right foot wear down inside to the point of no cushion. It can be painful after a while. Are there Dr. Scholl type things I can use?

I wonder if you have heel spur? Ask Doc to send you for a x-ray.

Yes, there are cushion heel guards. Check your local drug store where they sell Dr Scholl's foot pads.

Sometimes Shoe Stores carry them also.
