Ok so this pretty much has been going on all my life. I go to sleep at night, and some of the times at a reasonable hour (ha), but when I wake up in the morning I feel like I didn't sleep long at all. I also have profuse head aces and feel like regurgatating. I also feel like this when I go to sleep REALLY early. I have gone to sleep at like 6PM and woke up around 7AM and I still feel the same! Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this? Is it normal?

Lori and Caffsans have some good points here. Sometimes when we sleep we toss and turn just about all night. Although we never truly wake up, we are not actually in what what is called the REM zone. This is when the body and mind actually come together and drift off into a peaceful sleep.

Check with your doctor. That's sound advice. Sleep deprivation can lead to other disorders further down the road.

I wish you well!

Well, I don't think your sleeping habits have anything to do with
the way you are feeling. There are so many possibilities, and you don't give enough information.
You certainly need to see a Physician and have a check up. The Dr may be able to see the problem right away.
Have you been checked for diabetes? Do you have allergies?
You don't want to get up every day of your life feeling like this do you? So go see a Dr and feel well. Wouldn't it be good to
get up and feel like you are on top of the world? Good luck.

That is EXACTLY how I felt before I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Get your doctor to send you for a sleep test. Trust me, if it is sleep apnea you'll be amazed with how much better you feel once you start sleeping with a CPAP machine. I'm not sure how I was even functioning before. Remember, sleep apnea can cause some major health problems if not treated.

Try 2 tablespoons of nutmeg before going to bed. It will give you some nice dreams but make you refreshed when you wake up. Also try switching beds because it could be dust mites in your bed making you sick.
