Foods that increase the circulation are usually spicy. Red pepper (Cayenne) in powdered form is one of the best foods for increasing circulation. Use it instead of black pepper. Mexican salsas are also good. Just like the other person said avoid salty foods. They will interfere with a circulation.

At night take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. Afterwards just relax. This will help you feel better at the end of the day.

Well I can tell food that you shouldn't eat: anything with a lot of sodium. Too much salt can cause you to retain water which can aggravate the swelling of the feet. High sodium foods include most snack foods and prepared foods. Your daily intake of sodium shouldn't be more than 2400mg. This seems like a lot, until you realize something like one serving of Campbell's chicken soup has over 900mg of sodium.

I found eating light protein foods help with pain from standing for long periods of time, some examples are fish, chicken, turkey, eggs, and lean beef.
