Are Chiropractors expensive?

I have been having severe neck & shoulder pain for the last 2 weeks and someone suggested a chiropractor but i've never been so i was just wondering about how much they cost.

Not really, the one I went to was about $40-$45 each time. If you have insurance, that'll be even cheaper. Shop around to a few different ones to find a price you like, I've been to more expensive ones but I find the cheaper guy is more honest about what I need than the expensive one. (Some chiro's will tell you you need multiple appointments each week or month, it's not true.) The cheaper ones tend to be more interested in fixing your problem than padding their bank accounts.

It depends. Tell them you don't have insurance and they might be reasonable. Mine charges like $60 for an adjustment and I only go once in a while. If you have insurance it may cover some of it, but they'll charge you more, too. Typically, a copay for a specialist is $35.
Chiropractors rule so you should try it! It is instant relief!

I don't know how much chiropractors are, but I don't think they are very useful. My friend went to a chiropractor for years and she is still having neck and back pains.

The first visit might be around $45.00, depending on where you live. But no, they are not that expensive. I take my daughter to a chiropractor and it only costs $25.00 each time now.

They're very expensive if you turn out to have a serious medical condition and you get quack treatment by a chiropracter instead of seeing a real doctor. Go to a doctor.

most of then that I know of dont charge anything for the first visit. so if you wanted free then go to everyone of them and let each one do a little something..LOL!
