i sometimes get pain right at the end of the arch to the beginning of my heel. when i push it down it hurts, but then putting pressure on it makes it go away a little bit. then if i were to walk, the heels of my feet would be really sore but the pain would go away again. it happens to both feet. is this some sort of foot condition? if so, what's the name of it.

** i live in hawaii so i usually use slippers (flip flops) to school and i use shoes seldomly. i also walk around a lot on campus and stand a long time at work.

I suffer from chronic knee pain due to a birth defect. I also suffer from migraines which makes it hard to treat the pain. When I seek treatment through my pain protocol i feel like everyone sees me as a drug addict. I have slipped into a deep depression from all of this, how do I cope with chronic pain and the depression it involves?

So, we all know that when the weather gets hot, our bodies perspire and get moist....including "down there."

What do you do to stay dry throughout the day long after the shower's been had?
You can only change your undies so many times/day and baby powder wears off.

And, YES, I'm serious! =)

Hey guys. I have just for 2 weeks have had some wrist pain. It is mostly on my right wrist and both sides of the right wrist has some pain when, like, playing basketball or sometimes when using it in certain twisting motions and sometimes when writing. The odd thing is sometimes my left wrist is painful and it's on both sides of the left wrist as well. Although the left wrist recently feels much better and there's not much pain there. But it's not from trauma, the pain anyway. I just did some pushups actually and there wasn't any pain in the wrist, just like kind of tiredness? The pain is pretty mild though nothing severe. But the thing is it isn't the bone, but like I guess ligaments on the sides of the wrist. I look forward to your replies. thanks.

My sister has a large bubble on her leg, she claims she was bitten by a mosquito. The bubble has just about the same circumference as a nickel, and sticks out a full centimeter. We are popping it with a needle now, can anyone diagnose this?

After it is popped and some things have oozed out, what precautions should we take after?

somtimes i injure myself and then get tterrible pain... it lsts for somedays or weeks.. then it heals.. maybe even after 1 year. But some other body parts.. where you don't imagine to get injure, can they heal too?

Example. Male genitalia. I got hurt, and it still hurts after 2 days. it's bad pain.. but there is no redness or swealling. Just hurts really deep and bad.

i gues some nerve may be damaged. There is no use in going to urologist cause i've gone there before.. and they think i'm crazy.. and say "you're anxious". Just because there is no visible signs.

So, shoud i keep hope?

I have been having really bad leg pains lately. I am only eleven years old, and I will say, even though I am going into sixth grade soon, I am about as short as a third grader. My legs have been hurting really badly all over. It is from about the knee cap, to the heel of my foot. My dad thinks it is growing pains. I need help to try and stop the pain. One thing to add, because I know a lot of people are going to say, I do not take pills, because when I was young I choked on a pill and I don't take them any more. Please give me ideas, or tell me what you think is wrong. Thanks!

About two weeks ago, I went running, and for the first time, got a bit of chest pain. It hurt to breathe deeply, and my breath felt like it was being somewhat smothered. The pain went away within 15-25 minutes after I stopped running. Also around that time, I started coughing- a mild, but persistant cough. And even now, I'm still coughing. It's worse in the mornings and at nighttime. And today, I was running a mile, and the chest pain came back. Is this something to worry about?

Hello, 6 days ago I fractured my ankle (hairline fracture at the bottom tip of the fibula). They gave me a temporary cast at the emergency room and a day later an orthopedic surgeon gave me a splinter looking thing (long padded "boards" on each side of my leg held by two straps that wrap around my leg with velcro). My ankle has full movility with this, but it does protect the tender spot in case I hit it accidentally. My ankle is swollen and black but I'm in no pain unless I put pressure on my foot or touch the area. But I keep reading that people with similar fractures are immovilized with a cast or a boot. I was wondering if anyone had a similar breakage and what was used on the ankle... Thanks.

so i work at an office in a hotel, and my foot is swollen (long story, but i cant go home) so room service brought down 2 ice packs...one is an air tight sealed pack full of ice, the other is a "glacier ice gel refrigerant". she said "use that one, if you want, it's better..." bu the gel one is for packing to keep your food cold! and it says on the pack "DO NOT APPLY TO BODY" i found out its a pack for food online...but why would she give this to me if it says i shouldnt? should i try it, or just keep it for my lunches, and stick with the other ice pack? weird lady ....

I am 21 years old, a dancer in professional training and reasonably healthy looking, but I seem to be having some problems lately. I've been prescribed birth control by a HORRIBLE gynecologist who I never want to see again and didn't let me ask any of the questions that I needed to. Now, I've made an appointment with a doctor (internal medicine) and I want to ask him about all the weird stuff that I've been noticing lately (which is kind of a lot since I haven't gone to a doctor for years), but I'm worried that he will get annoyed and just think that I am complaining. I don't want to be seen as a hypochondriac or a whiner, but shouldn't you tell your doctor everything? Especially if you work in a physically demanding profession? I've also had an eating disorder (EDNOS) for about seven years and this may or may not have something to do with my physical and/or mental issues. How much should I tell him?

I just got a permanent job in Canada working for the government, so for the first time in my life I have a health and dental plan. I got a card for the health plan and 2 big stickers for the dental. If I have to pay for prescriptions or something like that at the doctor's office, would I simply pay using my new card from now on, so I don't have to pay out of my pocket? How do the stickers for the dental plan work? Am I covered for eye check ups and glasses too?
