I have a daughter that is 12 years old, and she told me when she starts walking around, her knees and sometimes hips start cracking. Is this normal? It happens randomly. Should I do something about it?

Get her checked by an orthopedist...my Mom took me when I was little...could be a precursor to arthritis, or may be nothing to worry about.

i would say this is normal, sometimes my achellies tendon clicks when i walk up and down the stairs, and actually clicking your joints does not harm them what so ever. i used to think clicking my fingers would cause atherites later on in life but all the doctors i have seen tell me its actually good to click your joints thats why orthpedics do it with your back and stuff. hope this helps ok xx
