Yes.
In fact, it can be very helpful in terms of killing bacteria.
A few drops of 3% H2O2 is plenty. Let it sit for a few minutes (there may be some bubbling or mild stinging) and then allow the excess to drain out.
INterestingly, H202 (i.e., hydrogen peroxide) boasts MANY health benefits which you may find surprising. I've appended a link below which may be of interest to you.
Best of luck,

Hydorgen peroxide decomposes rapidly to produce nascent oxygen which in closed cavities can produce significant pressures. In fact Nazi germany used hydrogen peroxide and hydrazine as rocket fuel. Its quite an explosive combination. Do tell us the your experience of using it, though i am not sure where you can get these chemicals in its pure form.

When I get an earache I put a drop of perixide in my ear and it seems to release pressure and makes my earache go away. I have done it for years. No problems after doing it.

I use to do it all the time when I was a kid because I always had ear infections. It's great for getting out excess wax. Just don't leave it in too long.

Yes, it is perfectly safe. It is good for a wax problem. Just make sure you drain it out.
