I have really bad stomach pain and also in my throat. my throat doesn't bother much but my stomach does. its been hurting for about a week already and it keeps me from sleeping. im taking Ammoxicillin prescribed from a doctor. its doing me no good and making dihreaa worse. its been hurting right in the middle of stomach but now hurts on lower right of stomach. Doctors said i had some type of virus. what do you think? how can the pain go away?

im only 14 and when i was 12 i was put in the hos[ital for days because of this

You may also have a stomach ulcer, made worse by stomach acid travelling back up the esophagus.An acid reducer, like Pariet (prescription only) may help, but there are also fast acting ones like Zantac 150mg. that will help too. Don't forget to see your doctor again to let him know how things are!

it's possible that you are allergic to the medicine the doctor prescribed. Many people are allergic to that medicine. You need to tell your parents how sick you are and have them take you to the doctor or a clinic as soon as possible. This could be very serious and you don't want anything further to happen.

You need to tell your parents and go to the ER. It could be something more serious that antibiotics may not help. You will need lab work and imaging studies to give you an educated answer.
