I have a dull ache in my lower right abdomen (flank). It occured a few weeks ago, lasting for a few days, and has since returned. I only noticed it this morning, and has continued for about 6 hours so far. Any ideas as to what this is? The pain is certainly bearable, not excrutiating at all; that said, it's uncomfortable, and mildly scary. Is this something I should be concerned about?

randomly, i was just sitting in my chair during math class, and all of a sudden i get this intense pain in my right chest. then it goes away. then suddenly on the left side, i get another intense pain and it increases. all of a sudden, there's a huge pop in my chest! it was so scary and painful! then i went to the hospital. they ran an EKG and i had a chest x-ray. they couldn't find and thing (the EKG hasn't come back yet) and now, they're saying i pulled a muscle! i know that i didn't and i would really like your help if you can offer any! thank you!

I've just gotten a scar redone on my stomach, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was like if you'd pop it open or open it up. I'm so worried I'm going to open up mine and I wanted to know any signs to tell that you've opened it. [ theres a patch over it so I dont know when it opens or anything ]

I really just need something to moisturize my eyes, not get the "red" out. My dad told me that Visine is bad for you if you have high blood pressure and that is what I have been using. I would like to try to stay away from that because I am on the edge of having high blood pressure. Thanks.

I am presuming it will be hard to find someone who uses these three as part of there medical regime. Thus far, in Three days, The Topamax, Has been Very Good, The Lyrica still has been Goods, the Ultram has been Good. All of these has been Good.
All of these Are Pain Management . I use Topical Items for Arthritis, early onset arthritis. As well as Hydro-Cortisone for problems with Tissue that is losing its elasticity, not good for a Guitarist, and general musician.
Anyways, I am hoping for any thoughts on Managing these medications since Whilst I am doing well, I am hoping someone else might read this who has had some similar experiences.
Thanks for your time

iv'e had a chest pain since november. i went to the doctor and they told me i have a condition called costocondritis. he gave me meds and they didn't work. so i went back and got an xray and a ekg both were fine. so he told me to see a cardivovascular specialist. the pain is not that bad. it only hurts when i press on it or when i turn it feels tight. and i only on one side of my chest. the doctor told me that it was not my heart but that i should see a cardiovascular specalist. i really don't want to go, but has any had a problem like this or has had costochondrites?

this happened to him. I try to encourage that things will get better and with physical therapy things could. My Dad has had a negative outlook on things before the stroke and since the stroke it has gotten worse. He has been getting mad at hospital staff. (mean to them.He tells them you don't know what I want so leave. Here's my question When I go to visit he says why are you so happy I say I 'm not I amtrying to be upbeat for you Dad. He said don't be. I find it hard to visit for hours at a time. I keep telling him I love him and hold his hand. He says you don't really want to hold my hand. I said yes I do. Why would he doubt my love for him any suggestions on this? Thanks in advance

Well I have felt for a long time that something is wrong- I often feel tired and dizzy for no reason. Sometimes when I am trying to concentrate I feel tired and find it really hard. When I am still a lot (studying, working on school stuff) I get dizzy and just feel exhausted. When I go for walks they tire me out. I often find it hard to concentrate on conversations and work because I feel so tired. I get more than eight hours sleep a night so that isnt it. I recently found out I have a very slow heartbeat (52-54 beats/min at rest) Could this be a reason? I mentioned it to my family and they laughed. I want to go to the doctor but im scared that they will laugh at me. I need to feel better now though because I have my final exams coming up. Could this be a possible cause or is it all in my head?

My grandmother has severe arthritis in her left hand and is unable to go on certain medication because of blood pressure and other complications. I have found massaging her hands really helps her, but does anyone else have any home remedies that might help? I am going to put a deep heat cream with a glove on her before she goes to bed.

when he was about 8 yrs. old he use to wake up screaming in pain. My doctor said it was "growing pains." Now at 24 yrs.old he said he has the same type of pain but behind his knee. He can barely talk it is so painful. I thought he might be thinking back to when he was young and had growing pains and since it was so painful to him then, he now thinks the pain is very similar to when he was young. Does anyone think there is any relation, is it in his mind, is it real? Help.
