The surgery involved a minor incision in the knee from where the rod is slipped.

Surgery is only in right leg.

More than likely they will numb you from the waist down. Sometimes they use general anesthesia. The surgery lasts about two hours.

It will take about two months for a full recovery. They like to have you walking as soon as possible after the surgery.

Many people have this surgery with excellent results. Ask your doctor all of your questions before surgery.
