It's possible that you have overused the muscles and that's why you're experiencing so much pain. This happens frequently to people who use the same muscles over and over. If you work a lot on a computer that can cause the pain.

Place a heating pad on the areas of pain for no more than twenty minutes at a time. A hot bath can also help relax the muscles. This may take a week of doing this before you feel Relief.

Kind regards,

If you went to the hospital and they tested you and found nothing then maybe there was nothing. A heart attack doesn't always show up on an EKG. My guess would be gas. People can have horrible, painful gas pains. I've thought I was having a heart attack at times myself. Buy some GasX. They are chewable and work fast. If you take it when you have the pains and the pains go away then its gas. You can get gas bubbles in between your ribs, and it does feel like it moves. Good Luck

not all chest pain is caused for heart problems. YOu can pull a muscle and not realize it. If the EKG comes back normal I would agree that you just pulled a muscle. Just keep an eye on it

I have exactly the same thing that you do, except over time the pain stopped coming as often and I too was tested. My doctors came up with no cause for these pains, but I think they can be stress related.
Otherwise, I doubt they mean that there's something wrong, because if there was I'm sure the doctors would have said something.

Actually, pulling a chest muscle isn't hard. It can occur from any sport, slumping forward in your chair, or coughing.

The randomized could also be a sign of an Upper Respiratory infection but since you didn't say anything about feeling sick I doubt it.
