General Health Care - April 2007

He's a 1 yr old beagle in good health but tried to eat a bee. The bee stung him so he let it go. Then he started vomiting and having diarrahea within 5 minutes of it. He's just laying around now. Please help. I'm worried.

I'm researching for a book and can't seem to find an answer online. One of my characters is recovering from an injury during which the inner edge of her radius is chipped by a bullet. A nurse told me this would be treated in a similar way to a fracture (once the bullet is removed, of course). For continuity purposes, I want to know how long she'd be wearing the cast for, and if it would be a short hand-to-elbow cast as for a broken wrist. Thanks!

I have a connective tissue disorder (Classical Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) which has made my knees hurt for years, but it's been getting worse lately. What happens is that it starts out as a sharp pain, but turns dull very quickly and then goes away for anywhere from a mnute to almost 24 hours.

Would depression be very likely to cause a sensation like that? I usually think of 'depression' pain as being either a dull ache or very sharp, not a rapid combination.....

I have no pre exsisting health conditions. Could it have been an internal pressure misbalance? Because about 5 mintues after I farted the pain went away(im being dead serious). Any other guesses at what could have caused it?

I am unable to lay on right side, due to pain going down hip and right leg. It's almost like a line going down my leg. Now the pain is almost constent in lower leg. There is some swelling not alot, but pain is very sharp.

so like a few days ago no i think it was a week ago i accidentally got an 8 pound weight droped on my shine like more then 20 times repeaditly and now it got bruised. like a softball hit me there but like all down tat bone when u touch it hurts super bad and thers a spot that i can touch and it will burn and urt really super bad and its a soft spot like right and i mean right next to the bone like an inch away, and it feels numb, so wat should i do? next question my ankle it hurts to put preasure on it 4 days ago i herd a tear crack crak in it and then yesterday i steped in a hole and herd a pop, so wat do you think is wrong and wat should i do? and i told my mom and asked if i could go to the doctors she refuses to take me and says im a cry baby its nothing to worry about,on the bruise its bigger than a softball but round like one red in the middle black blue purple around it. so wats wrong? and wat should i do?
