General Health Care - February 2007

Have lost just about everything in a divorce and my teeth are in great need of lots of work. I make just enough to feed myself, and absolutely cannot pay a dentist. Is there any program in Virginia that I can get into for dental care?

i am 16 preparing for gcse exams and i dont get a lot of sleep, can anyone reccomend something because everyday when i wake up i feel tired which therefore lacks my concentration in lessons as i dont produce quality work, ive had this sleeping problem for over a year now and my eyes are really puffy, ive got eye bags and look in terrible condition can some one please suggest something

I was really dehydrated last night & hardly slept as I seemed to be really hot but then cold at the same time. Today I feel really achey but dont have a cold or anything! My head is a bit fuzzy & I just feel really lousy I am sure its not the flu! Any suggestions what I may be suffering from? I havent done anything physically demanding in the last few days!

This will be the 6th surgery between my twin Boys.. they are 5.
Anyway, I am upset about this one ... I am afraid if him going under anesthia.
He has been under several times before and all has gone well. I am just afraid that something will go wrong this time.
What are the chances that something will go wrong if he has done great all the other times?

I'm having pretty severe pain in my lower back, on the left side of my spine, and then down my leg. All signs point to a herniated disc. I'm not sure if I should just call my PCP or a chiropractor or an orthopedic doctor or what. I'm pretty sure whoever I do see will just give me an MRI and hopefully just physical therapy or something, but I want to make sure I go to the right kind of doctor.

Whenever I open my mouth I get a pain in my jaw close to my ear on the left side, I can kind of feel it in my ear. It doesn't hurt to touch my jaw or ear with my hand, it only hurts when I open my mouth. Any thoughts on what this is?

I went to the army doctor,, been doing physical therapy forever it seems,, stress fractures in both my legs are real bad and Im on crutches, havent done PT in 6 months except swimm in a pool. I am afraid to go to my doctor beause she may inject me or do cirumision on me.I am in a lot of pain and i dont know what to do.My grandmother is keen on getting my cir done but i dont want them to enash on this oppurtunity.I am not able to move and i am lying in one place wid my legs wide open.I am not able to sleep since i last heard the conversation of my elders saying that the cirumiser is all for tommorow and my date for this operation is 4 days from today but i dont want them to cut my clottoristhe pimple already hurts alot.I am scared kindly share your circumcision experienes with me and sujjest a way to get out of this mess please!

It lasts for about 30 seconds and hurts bad but not like a usual headache.It happens about 4-5 times a day and i feel strange when it happens.I've had a MRI scan and nothing has come up.Does anyone else get these or know why it happens.It has me worried and interferes with my normal life .PLEASE HELP OR EXPLAIN THIS TO ME.

I fell down my stairs yesterday and banged up my left arm pretty good. I went to the hospital and they x-rayed it and said it wasn't broken, but then put me in this wonderful splint and told me to leave it on until I could follow up with my doctor.
The splint is making me nuts!!! If nothing is broken why would they do this?
