Yes, gout arthritis could be your problem. See a rhumatologist to get it checked out.

Is it possible that you have Gout in your feet? Do you have osteoporiasis that affects your feet? Let your dr. know you are having these pains, because they are seriously in need of a doctor's care. Painful feet can put you out of commission for working, playing, and even lying down. Very important: Are your feet turning purple at all? If they are not the 'right' color to match the rest of your body, you NEED help, and fast. Reynaulds is a problem of circulation, and will turn your toes to purple or even to black. Serious condition!

Sounds like it could be Plantar Fasciitis. Water aerobics works great for this. You'll notice a difference within a couple of sessions. I have it and I notice a huge difference when I go to a class. When I don't, my feet are terribly painful and constantly crack when I walk....especially first thing in the morning. Take Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) to help with the pain and inflammation.

I can't remember what the proper name for it is, but my mom had a lot of trouble with her feet so she went to the Dr and they xrayed. what was troubling her was the muscle in her feet were detaching from the bone. so she had to have a shot that did something. Anyway she hasn't had much trouble with them since.
