I was really dehydrated last night & hardly slept as I seemed to be really hot but then cold at the same time. Today I feel really achey but dont have a cold or anything! My head is a bit fuzzy & I just feel really lousy I am sure its not the flu! Any suggestions what I may be suffering from? I havent done anything physically demanding in the last few days!

Sound like flu symptoms.

Dont let yourself get dehydrated. Drink plenty of fluids.

Dont get mixed up between flu and a cold as they are two different things, and have different symptoms.

You seem to be displaying symptoms of flu.

This way sound weird, but I have similar symptoms that I swear are related to the weather. Atmospheric pressure or something related to changes in weather often make me feel fuzzy and weak, tired, and as you say, lousy. I haven't found anything to relieve the symptoms unfortunately.

www.weather.com puts out an aches & pains index (see link) for the continental US, but my a&ps don't seem to correlate. However, you might find something there that helps.

The other thing to consider would be humidity. Here in the midwest we had a huge humidity drop a few days ago, and that could be causing your dehydration and maybe even the fuzziness. If you find yourself getting shocks from static electricity lately your humidity is probably low.

Other than that I can just say I hope you feel better soon. Good luck!

Sometimes this kind of thing hits you and then just goes away after 24 to 48 hours. I don't really know what it is unless it is like a little light cold. It does make you feel lousy. I drink plenty of fluids, take Tylenol and Cover up in a nice comforter when this happens to me. Wait it out and I feel better fast.

Flu makes all your bones/joints really ache terribly but usually you can't get out of bed for a few days, it gets so bad and it makes you sleep for hours on end. It's probably a mild attack or just a bad cold

I've got exactly the same. It is just a cold. Stay in bed, until you feel up to getting up.

Could just be a cold. Although if you have a history of mental health probs ie depression could be related to that!
