At the beginning of the month I went to Park City Utah to promote the film we're making at work (www.anamericanopera.com). Park City is one big hill and I had been walking up and down this hill for about a day and a half when I went to take a step down a set of stairs at a parking garage, and all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my left knee as I was bending it to step down with my right foot. Well then I couldnt bend it to go down stairs for about 4 or 5 days without a stiff severe pain. Going up stairs was almost as bad, but not quite. I still had two days of walking to do there, just trying to avoid stairs and limping a little. It got a little swollen, but no bruising or redness. After the 5th day of being injured I could finally go up and down stairs with only mild pain. Now, the pain is gone but EVERY TIME I take a step upward my knew cracks pretty loudly. I dont have insurance and was just wondering if anyone had any idea what might be wrong and if it could be serious?

My friend got a piece of graphite lodged into her ankle. Her dad's being a jerk and won't let her go to the emergancy room. I don't want her to get infected and die.
So what do I do?

Hi,
Last night I was removing my headband, and touched the base of my skull on the left side. After i touched I started experiencing a small amount of pain each time I touched it thereafter. I thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. This mornign I woke up, and it is even more tender there now. I am on an antibiotic ( getting over a sinus infection) and have had a "pinched nerve pain" in the upper portion of my neck on the left side. Did the pain move up? what could this be? It is sometimes not noticeable( but ofcourse) when i think about it, it worsens.....Please help!

My son has been really sick with a very stopped up nose. He had a tempature of 105.5 the other night, we took him to the ER, and they told us he has a viral infection. I want to know how to help his nose. He is seven and autistic so there is no way I am going to be able to suction his nose, and he does not know how to blow it very well, can anyone tell me a home remedy that will help loosen the stuff in his nose

surgery which didn't work. I took her to the Orthopedic Doctor because she was in pain to see if he could help. He mentioned to her that any more surgery for my ailing Mom whom is 83 probably wouldn't work. He also mentioned in her frail condidtion he told her she probably shouldnt live alone. She said I"M NOT MOVING and I want to LIVE ALONE. (no question about it her comments. Her Mind is very much in tack and I offered her to move in with me. She said absolutly not. I like my own home. We own are home 20 miles away near my husbands job. Any suggestions??

I'm looking for something with good coverage that wont cost me an arm and a leg. Here is a list of things i want on this coverage in order of priority:

2.Dental (i love and want to keep me teeth)
3.Doctor visits (i dont go to the doc much even when i am sick)

I am considering setting up an agency specifically to help people with advice on welfare benefits, debt advice and money management who are recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. The current position seems to be to refer to Citizens Advice who may have the information but perhaps not the level of empathy required to deal with this type of client. In no way is this meant as a criticism of CAB who do a superb job but are increasingly inundated with advice requests. In an environment which encourages multi-agency networking I thought a specialist agency may be beneficial. Many thanks
