No.

Let me explain, since some of you are clueless. Mucus is a perfectly safe and naturally occurring bodily fluid, not some toxic bi-product like feces or urine, therefore it cannot be "rejected" by the body or make you sick to ingest it more than we already do, every minute of every day. The amount of extra mucus created when you have nasal congestion is minimal and will not "fill up" the stomach, nor will it create some sort of illness by ingesting an extra few tablespoons a day, and that's only when your nasal and bronchial passages are expectorating the mucus.
If your stomach is hurting because you are sick, that's normal as when you are sick, you tend to have aches and pains, sometimes not directly related to the part of the body you think is making you sick ( when you have the flu, you have headaches, stomachaches, nasal congestion, throat, etc)
That is your long answer, as well as your most factual answer.

Yes it is possible the mucus is causing the problem, if you swallow enough your body will reject, causing you to throw it up. We have to try to keep from swallowing it, it is trying to come out for a reason. Just pack in the kleenex, make frequent runs to the rest room to clear your nasal passages, and be sure to deep breath to cough it up so it don't lay into your lungs and cause more serious problems.

Swallowing your own mucus, regardless if you are ill or not will not cause stomach problems or induce sickness.

Absolutely! Blow that stuff out! If you are coughing at all, it can strain the muscles in your abdomen too!

Yes, it can. Take some kleenex along.
