I take Paxil, and changing your dosage could cause your symptoms. Still, remember, that a panic attack is not JUST a panic attack...........it is horrible to have and has all the symptoms that you listed. Are you on Paxil to keep panic attacks, DOWN? I am. Please, explain what happened to your doctor. It could be entirely something else. Some people explain a stroke just as you explained how you felt. Don't have a panic attack while reading this! Some people, does NOT mean YOU! Your doctor and you MUST sort this out, quickly. Not later, quickly, today.

Did you change your dose or your doct? if your doctor up your dosage generally it takes a few weeks to take affect and there may be symptoms such as what you described prior to the new dosage playing a role. BUT please discuss this w/ the doctor who put you on Paxil....paxil for me was not the med. i needed after trying and my doctors tried various things, now i am good and glad i was open about the meds. and what i was feeling. See you doctor ASAP about these new feelings.

The FDA has asserted that adult and pediatric patients on antidepressants can develop an array of side effects, including anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania that may make them suicidal when the dose either increases or decreases--- that is whenever the dose changes.

This may be a side effect from the increased doseage. You need to contact your doctor to discuss the problems. My daughter could not take the drug as she become more depressed and started crying. Everyone is different, so you need to call the doctor.

SOUNDS LIKE AN ANXIETY TO ME i HAVE THEM IT IS LIKE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH YOURSELF. ITS A HORRIBLE FEELING. I TAKE LEXEPRO AND XANAX. THE LEXEPRO DOESNT REALLY DO ANYTHING BUT XANAX WHEN USED CORRECTLY, WILL REALLY CALM YOU DOWN. AND I TAKE A VERY SMALL DOSE.
