Call your doctor. They will let you know what to do.
If it was a serious head concussion, you should defnitely go to the ER so they can run tests and monitor you.
For the next 24 hours you need to be careful. Get some one to stay with you. If/when you sleep, you need to be woken every hour. Then have the person shine a light in your eyes to make sure that they dilate. If your eyes don't react to the light go immediately to the ER.

All head injuries should be seen in the ER because of potential to be very serious and life threatening.Your brain is encased in hard immovable "box",when any swelling or bleeding inside the skull occurs the soft brain tissues have no where to go,no "give" in the bones to tolerate the swelling and blood,so it's under pressure, and subject to tissue "death" and irreversible brain damage.A concussion is a brain injury a "blow" to the head, always better to be safe than sorry. Take care. SW RNP

A concussion is a brain injury. Any time you injure your brain, you should at least see a doc via appointment.

Every time you are concussed, it becomes easier and easier to have another one.

There are recent studies out now that if a person with a concussion injures their brain again in a short period of time, it can lead to death from a relatively minor second injury.

Because head injuries are serious business. They will want to keep you there to be sure all of your motor functions are working properly. Also if the swelling cuts off blood flow to the brain you can get a stroke.
