I am 17 years, and yesterday i left school early because i had a temp. of 100.4. But i kinda feel fine. I dont think it is truely worth a visit to the doctors. It has been really hard for me to sleep at night, they are restless nights and i have been breaking out in sweats during the night. I feel semi dizzy and tired 24-7 and i cant seem to go to sleep. My 'glands' are swollen on my neck which makes my neck pretty sore. And my throat is pretty itchy. I was wondering what could it be? and what is a good 'treatment' to speed up the 'get better process' and if it is even worth going into work or not for?

I have stitches on my knee, some gauze and stuff over it. Is it okay to get it wet (I.E. taking a shower), or do I need to cover it with something else?

I work as a paper carrier with only about 42 papers a day to deliver. Last night I woke up with pain starting in the tips of my fingers going all the way up to my shoulder. Years ago I suffered with this and lost many hours of sleep due to it.

Is there a way to kill the pain during the night? Any tips?

I just switched from Secret to Mitchum because I heard that its better. I haven't had much luck with it yet. The deoderant part does last through the day, but the anti-persperant doesn't stop me from sweating through my shirts.

I've heard that men's anit-persperants were stronger, is it true? Also, are there some that don't smell so manly?

Thanks!

and problems with my lower back and I'm only 15! I can't bend my knees for long periods of time, or bend over [not in the sick way] you know, it hurts my back. Are there any excercises I can do so I won't have major problems with this when I'm older? Any healthy foods I can eat...?

I have an upcoming class called Med/Surg nursing and I really don't know what type of stuff we will study. I haven't asked a teacher yet and can't find any good info on the net. What does Med/Surg nursing mainly focus on?

For the past couple of months, I get home at about midnight after an 8-9 hour shift, if I'm lucky I crash be before 1am, if I'm not lucky I'll be up past 5am (unlucky about 2.5 times a week)

I snap awake at 5am sharp. It's insane, I wake up at 5am so consistently, no matter where I sleep, or even if I go to sleep before midnight (no alarm clock).
It really does feel like I'm snapping awake, like I've been plunged into water or getting smacked in my face, and from the second I get up, I'm fully awake, it's literally my most lucid time of the day. There's no point in me trying to stay in bed past 5am, I feel physically sick if I do.

It causes a big problem for me, because I will feel all of a sudden tired, and exhuasted at 1pm, on the dot. I will go from bright eyed to eye bags in moments. I will need a nap really bad, it'll be dangerous for me to drive.

does anyone else have this problem or had or have suggestions for me? Getting to sleep isn't as hard as staying asleep.

Like when I get a headache on a night out - I have done in the past but I've recently been told it shouldn't ever be done. Is it bad?

When my wife brings me tea in bed and l drink it laying down, sometimes it spills and goes into that dip in my neck - my wife gets cross as she has to pass a tissue, is there a gadget on the market so that l could do it myself?

I only notice it when I touch my nose while washing my face; so on and so forth. Is there a vitamin I am deficient in that is causing this? I sure would be greatful if someone could tell me the cause behind this. It has been like this for several years off and on but recently it is all the time.

I normally need about 7 to 8 hours a night to feel really rested. I don't have too hectic a schedule, so getting to bed at a decent hour and waking up at a decent hour is not a problem. I generally don't have problems with insomnia, but sometimes my sleeping schedule gets screwy (like I go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 6am one day, the next day I fall asleep at 3am and get up at 9am, stuff like that) and sometimes I don't get enough sleep. Any suggestions on how to get a good night's sleep every night? Like what time I should wake up or go to bed, what kind of pillows should I use, what should i do or not do before going to bed, etc etc etc.
Also, I don't want to use any drugs or medication, so no suggestions of that sort, please. Thanks.

In the UK, we have so many outlawed drugs, but over the past 20 years doctors have been prescribing worse – even to children. It’s almost like we’re living in the world Aldous Huxley described in his novel Brave New World...we will snarl at the 'blue pills', but swallow the red pills until the cows come home, realising in time the latter created yet another illness.
Would it be mature for 'blue pills' etc...the alleged 'nasties', to be put to use. If ganja (in time) got rid of, say, epilepsy for good after a period of intake, I would take it here and now, as I've had fits for nearly 40 years.

I went to the Dr. already, he said he could not find anything, My left arm, from the shoulder to the fingertips feel like something cold is flowing in my arm, It is not cold to the touch, I only feel it in the inside of my arm, the Dr. sent electric currents through my arm, (so it's not nerve damage). Has anyone else had this problem?
