I know, this is gross, sick whatever but then the color of it looks weird, and gross. It can be shaken, and I am afraid it cant grow back. It is already halfway out. What shd I do?

Don't hold your breath waiting for it to grow back. I lost most of one of my toenails a few years ago, and it literally took months. It sounds like you've got a very common fungal infection. If it's a dirty yellowish brown, that's probably it. I suggest that you do get someone to have a look at it, just in case. Fungal infections can (rarely) turn septic, so be a bit cautious. Don't mess with it.

See a doctor if you can. You most likely have a fungus growig underneath your toenail. You can try putting something like lamisil under the toenail if u can reach it, but you will probably need a perscription for an antifungal medicine. Try trimming it down as much as possible to prevent snags or injury. It usually takes 6 months to a year for a toenail to fully grow back.

it will grow back, the new nail will grow on top of yr old nail ( if u don't take this out) ... it will take some time to get the whole nail again... like 3 months

could be if its a manifestation of a general disease like diabetes
may not if its nail disease

ask a local doc
it needs to be seen

Pull it off if you can without much pain, if not, cut it back. Yes your nail will grow back......

it will grow again. u probably pressed it too hard by shoes, it happens with me every autumn - -after i start wearing autumn shoes after summer shoes. it becomes black, then falls off, then new , nice one grows back. do not worry
