Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Well, it depends on what kind of headache you have. There are different kinds of HAs which are caused by different things (stress, exhaustion, brain tumor, wrong glasses or contact lense grade, or even ejaculation!). There are cluster HAs, migraine HAs, tension HAs, among others, and they can be relieved by different methods. Aspirin, Tylenol, and other HA tablets are obviously useful for some types of HAs. However, sometimes a simple nap can cure the lack-of-sleep HA. A massage might help, as would staying away from bright light. However, if your HAs continue to persist, you should see your doctor for advice. It may be something worse than you think. Good luck.

Tension in the eyes, back/neck and shoulders are common for causing headaches, so a good back massage with an essential oil such as peppermint (mixed with a carrier oil like almond) should help your body relax.
The bag of frozen peas works well too. I often fill a sink with freezing cold water and dunk my head under for a few seconds a time to help relieve my migraines- but if you do that, be careful!
Never rely on tablets to do the job unless you really have to. Avoid caffeine (a headache caused by caffeine can be relieved by caffeine but that just means caffeine shouldn't be in the body in the 1st place). Recurring headaches can be caused by dairy intolerance, eyestrain, bad lifestyle etc, so chill out over Xmas, drink lots of water and fruit juice and get a nice back rub!
Hope you feel better :)

Aw hon I feel for you. Try using an ice pack. Put it on your forehead or on the back of your neck. Are you able to lie down for about an hour? Try that as well. If you have access to the Advil brand of ibuprofen, the liqui-gels are pretty good. Stay away from heavy foods, they could make your current discomfort worse. When this one passes, you may want to take a close look at your headaches and try to determine what triggers them. If they are very frequent, please, see a doctor. TL

there r some new drug help in prophylaxis

there may be other causes like flu and weak eyesight
correction of these may help
