I have a pain that is mostly under my left shoulder blade. When I turn my head, the pain goes up to my neck. It is a burning pain, simiar to puled or torn muscles, but I haven't done anything that would have caused it. I took Ibuprophen, but it had no effect. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it would be greatly appreciated. I've had this pain for 5 days now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

My 5-year-old sister keeps complaining that her eyes hurt. She said this once yesterday, and this afternoon she was whining alot and kept complaining about her eyes. Around 4:00 she fell asleep but woke up again at 5 whining again. Any advice?

Hi..yesterday I was scratched by a kitten on 2 fingers...barely a wound mark, but it hurt. I washed immediately and put antiseptic on. A few hours later noticed finger feels bruised and hurts to bend it, but still no swelling around puncture mark or anything. No redness, no swelling, but hurts ALOT to bend. I have alot of cats and get scratched alot, but have never had such a bruising feeling after???? It feels like there is a great big bruise or something on the joint. It seems to feel better for a minute or so after I run it under hot water. I'm allergic to antibiotics so this is really scaring me! Thanks

My kitten scratched the white of my eye...it now looks like a broken blood vessel. I can see fine but it is a little sore. Does anyone know of a good eye rinse. Im a broke student and don't have the money to go to an eye doc. at this time.

2 days ago I was loading the dishwasher and I poked a fork underneath my thumbnail on the side. I have a slightly infected thumb now. No drainage, but at the side of the nail the skin has puffed up and it's red. It hurts a lot if it's bumped. Will it harm it if I soaked my thumb in warm salt water? or should I do something else?

About 12 hours ago I was scratched by a kitten...quickly washed and put antiseptic on it. Can barely see the wound, but a few hours later it started to hurt to bend my finger...no swelling, no other pain, more like a bruised feeling when I try to bend my finger. I'm allergic to antibiotics and would have to be hospitalised if they give them to me, so I don't want to run off unnecessarily, but I"m a bit concerned. Thanks.

me and a couple of my friends went out drinking, and one of my friend got really drunk, when i was taking her back home, the resident advisors of the University (she leaves on campus) saw us and pretty much call the cops which in the end they call the hospital and abm. to take her away.. well, the whole time i was trying to get her to throw up and just take her to bed, but people keep butting in, (its non of their business)so they take her to the hospital less than a mile away!! (Down the street).. the doc tells me that "She did not need to come in, she is drunk, but she could of stayed home and slept it off"well in the bill they charged her $800.00, even the hospital charged her for bedsheets, pillow case, Latex Gloves and all she did was SLEEP, the Amb. charged her a **** load too! 25.00 for Gas (1 Mile) but its NOT A mile away at ALL, SHe is international Student, and has a form of insurance, but still, can i get a written statement with the doc. and fight this off and refuse to pay

two weeks ago i pinched the syatiac nerve in my lower back,, it has seemed to of healed up ok , now the prob is ,, my butt cheek,left leg,and testicals, are starting to hurt alot, Butt and leg are cramping, and the " boys " are constantly throbbing , as if i was kicked , if any one has had a back problem like this , is this normal?

I've had Anti-Depressants, Anti-Psychotics, Anti-Inflammatories, all the Triptans, Visteril, Toradol, Tramadol, Axert, Vikadin (which I can now take 5 of before I feel anything, than puke), Chiroprator visits, Muscle relaxers, EVERYTHING! I took my daughter to the doctor a few days ago and the doc thought she had strep throat so he prescribed an antibiotic. Well today I got a call saying the test came back negative for strep. She was running a 102 fever with it though. And now for the past 2 days I have had an extremely sore throat. I cannot even eat because it hurts so bad. But it isn't strep the doc says. And I am running a little fever too (100). The doc says it could be sinus drainage or my allergies or a virus. But it has never hurt like this before. What else could it be? What do you think? I also have a headache.

I am 41 and was diagnosed with chrondro-malatia patella two years ago and will need a knew knee cap doctor wants me to wait 10 yrs saying iam to young to have the procedure meanwhile iam on Oxycodone 4 tabs daily. I do not take maximum dosage and only take when I can't function to do my daily task work etc.
