they are not good until you are addicted to them.
then they are really good, because you can't live without them and get a rush every time you take them

Pain pills make you feel relaxed and sleepy. When you sleep, your body is healing. I've never had to take a prescription pain killer but if I experience a mild or a moderate pain now and then (I have arthritis in my lower back), I take Tylenol P.M. I take one tablet (even though the bottle says to take two) about a half hour before I go bed. I wake up refreshed. They are not addicting either.

because they make you feel good and then it feels like you have to have them to feel better. that's why i stay away from all pain meds. ( i didn't take anything after both my kids were born, except plain Tylenol
