General Health Care - November 2006

is there such a thing as an illness where no matter how long you go with out eating you do not feel hungry?

i ask this because i used to feel hungry around 11 in the morning, now it is like 5 and i don't feel anything? And this has been going on for about a week, strange right?

And i am being totally sincere!

My dog went running after a squirrel and came back limping. Her paw and leg are undamaged. She pulled or strained a muscle in her chest. Is there something that I can rub on it to help it relax.
I only walk her when she has to go out and keep the walk short. She is active and alert and up to her usual antics but she limps and won't let me put any pressure on her chest where the muscle is. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a bump below my kneecap. It's like it's just swollen a little. It's been like that for about 4 weeks. I decided to ice it and after I did that, it started to hurt. It also hurts when I swing my leg when I walk. It doesn't hurt when I push on it or walk on it.

Yeah, I know the obvious answer would be "Just don't do it", but it's not easy... I can't sleep on my back! I just can't make myself go to sleep like that. I try to go to sleep on my side, and I always roll in my sleep, and end up on my stomach, and every morning I wake up with back pain... Any tips?

for about the last six years i have had areoccuring knee pain it is in the right side of my knee and hurts around the knee cap. ive been to several doctors and they all say something different ive had cortizone shots and even had to walk with a cane and im only 25 every time they bring up surgery something comes up or they say im not eligible dose anyone know of what this could be or a place i can go look up symptoms for my problem

My boyfriend is complaining about a pain in his ball sac. It just started two days ago, he thinks he might have strained something since he recently started working out again. She had a car wreck about 6 or 7 months ago. She is almost 60 and has a bad back. I just don't want to go through anymore pain. She had surgery about 2 months ago to fuse the discs in her back together. Somehow they go torn from the wreck. Supposedly, they didn't do the job right the first time, so now she has to go in for another surgery. Could that be the reason for her pain?

Yesterday i went swimming at school and after we did the 400m swim(swim 400m as fast as you can)we played a game of water polo.
When the ball was coming towards me I jumped towards it and must of sprained my leg because when i caught the ball my leg froze and i couldnt move it.
After about 3 minutes it could move again but now my leg hurts while i walk and i have to limp.

Does anyone know whats happened and how i can stop the pain?

I lost my voice singing during a church event and normally I can sing just about anything. When I lost it I took some advice from someone and I think i messed it up worse. I was told to take hot sauce and gargle with it so I did and since have not been able to sing and still have periodic moments of whispers when trying to speak. HELP!!!!! I don't know what to do. Normally when I loose my voice it get it back w/in a week or so. This is the longest time frame. Open to all suggestions.
