Don't know what your problem is, but for bad backs, I always recommend getting rid of your shoes. For good. Seriously...you have no idea how bad shoes are for you. If you're constructing a building, the foundation is the most important part. If that's messed up, the building will fall down. Your feet are your body's foundation. If you live with what mother nature gave you, your posture will improve and your back pains will decrease, and eventually, go away.

First get an adjustment from your chiropractor (easy 50 unfortunately) this is to get your back readjusted

Second, to relieve the pressure, stiffness, and aching i suggest going to the physio therapists office to loosen up your muscles in the back

Finally, you have to go to the gym =) and do some back exercises which include squats, and sit ups (they really do improve back aches) and i believe dead lifting is also helpful but make sure u get staff or a spotter to help you deadlifting can be harmful and may cause further pain or injury if a) not done correctly or b) too much weight =)

Note* chiropractors also give exercises and plans to improve your back
Note* physiotherapists are bastards and cost aroudn 35$ a session and they teach you what ... at most a few things being 3 the max.... totally not worth it...i went to over 5 sessions and decided to quite and enlisted in the gym...

if you have any questions about back problems or work outs concerning the back feel free to contact me =)

See a chiropractor, don't just ignore it, sounds like your spine is out of alignment. That can happen at any age. A regular doctor will just tell you to use Alleve or something, which you can, but that just treats the pain etc. Adjustments by the chiro will not only ease the pain but will treat the actual problem.

Another thing is how you pick something up from the ground. Don't just bend over and pick it up, that puts too much pressure on your back. Bend your knees and use your leg muscles to help when you pick something up. Saves your back thatta way.

Have you ever had any injuries in your back? I started doing sit-ups and it really ached, I didn't know why, then I went to the doctor and he found out that my coccyx is out of its normal place, then I remembered an injury I had once (I was riding a horse), and he said it might be the reason, because that region has lots of nerves, so even a very little thing can hurt. Go to the doctor, he'll find out. :)

You might have a pinched nerve you might want to see your doctor to make sure. Never ignore pain like that over time it could get worse. Also it might be arthritis in the lower back.
